Title

So I had to create a Blog. I don't fully understand a Blog and to tell you the truth i don't really care. I've have read some and it just seems to be an opinion or someones outlook into something they find of interest, or a discussion of something they feel is a need for all to know.
When I had created this Blogger thing I felt it pretty interesting to put this title to help further explain or enlighten me why Blogs are so popular. I guess people just enjoy getting comments or others opinion maybe. Whenever I feel the need for that I simply ask someone who is around me or that I personally know.
You can say that I may be a little close minded or not up to outside opinions, criticism, and so forth, but I simply don't find a need for it. As I'm writing this is or rather typing this. I feel as if I'm writing in a journal or diary for all to know. To me that kind of defies the purpose of those type of implements. Maybe through this though I will have a different opinion on the matter.

  1. Hi. I don't understand why someone would want to blog either. I think it's immature to post blogs for the whole WORLD to see your opinion.
I think some people like to hide behind the keyboard, so to speak, but still want to communicate with others. Humans communicate to each other mainly by nonverbal communication, rather than our words so people who like to do this stuff, rather than communicate face to face, I am seriously weary of. Especially the people who post My space or Facebook pics. that are from 10 years ago BEFORE gravity and fast food took its toll on them. he he he
Anyone that thinks ANYONE AT ALL in the general public across the world cares about their opinion must have lost touch with reality. Either that or they have such a large ego to pet that they find comfort in voicing their opinion and getting recognition. Personally, I am just doing it for a grade. I have abbreviated my name to remain more anonymous though. I hope people in our class communicate with me on assignments but strangers from the web should not be allowed to just comment on my work. That is a complete invasion of my privacy and a distraction to my homework. I don’t want to talk to any stranger on the web ever for any reason. I have my own life and family to protect, and I am not open to suggestions from the rest of the world at this time.
Well, for the purpose of this online class the blogs are required to satisfy the requirement of peer reviews, group work etc. on our list of course learning objectives, so try and have fun blogging till June 3rd!

  2. Hey, when I found out we had to create a blog for this class I definitely was not excited about it either. I had never seen or read a blog so I wasn’t really sure what I was supposed to be doing. I agree with you that it feels like I’m writing in a personal journal or diary and I don’t want the entire world to see it. Writing for me has always been something I do for myself to let off steam. It has always been something personal and I don’t feel comfortable letting anyone else see it. As a matter of fact I used to throw away everything I would write down after I was done in fear that someone would find it and read it. I’ve never been too good at letting people see my emotions or even reading them for that matter.
I also agree with that you said about people who do like to blog. I think they like receiving comments and other opinions and people. I’m also starting to understand that maybe it is like a therapy session for people to write blogs they can get all different kinds of feedback and they don’t have to pay for it. LOL. Writing my first blog was torture for me but I’m starting to get the hang of it. I think I’m like you and am just a private kind of person that would rather not have my thoughts on the internet
